Jesus Knows

Jesus knows all about our struggles!!! In St. John 21:3, the disciples fished all night and caught nothing: This must be a frustrating thing for a fisherman, fished all night and came up empty. v.4, Jesus could have met them elsewhere but He visited them at the beach; the place of their struggles. Jesus is where you are hurting now; throw away the controls, let Jesus takes the reins and He will solve all our problems. v.6, Jesus told them cast their net on the other side and wow ! what a catch, they could not haul in the catch, praise the Lord! Jesus is where you are now hurting, take your eyes off the crisis and look to Jesus, He has the answer. Will you?

Living Water

St. Luke 11:24-26 Holy Spirit, Living Water  fill us up, let the Body of Christ be so well watered that the enemy cannot and will no find a dry place to rest. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I have prayed

Let's Celebrate

Exodus15:1 "I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted. Both horse and driver He has hurled in the sea". After the Lord defeated Pharoah and his army at the Red Sea, the Israelites were exuberant in their worship to God; they celebrated the victory with every fibre of their being and it was a glorious time. They got out their musical instruments and got down to worship God. Can you see them jumping, skipping, running, clapping and dancing? The Lord had fought their battle and gave them victory,  even the Egyptian recognized  it, Ex. 14:23b, "Let's get away from the Israelites: the Lord is fighting for them against Egypt". Fast forward: Ex. 15:23 -24. How easily we forget!! The God who granted the Israelites  victory over  Pharoah and his army is still the God when they got to Marah where the drinking water was bitter. Like the Israelites when we face challenges we complain and forget the favor of God on our lives. Ex. 15:25, The Lord showed Moses a...

You were born to soar!!

“We are young eaglets born of God to mount up to the sun but we stand shivering by the nest, not daring to try our wings. Young eaglets trust the the invisible Air, trust it and ride aloft. It shall bear you up, up, beyond the clouds of mist, up to the very sun itself. He shall rise the highest who trust most; he shall have most who can believe most in God”. (Charles Spurgeon) As believers, we have placed so much limitations on ourselves because of fear, hence we do not strive to be the best we can be nor do we allow the Holy Spirit to empower us. As a result, mediocrity becomes our hallmark and we settle for less than. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us, He bought our freedom with His blood. Child of God, let us try our ‘wings’, the wings of faith: Let’s dig deeper into God; He is unsearchable, untraceable and above all He is a covenant keeping God. He said that if we seek Him we will find Him. Amen and amen

Reinstate the Altar of God!!

Amos 3:14 I will also visit the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off and fall to the ground. The prophet, Amos is here warning the children of Israel of God’s impending judgment, against them because they had turned away from worshiping the true and living God to the worship of idols. When we build a place of idolatry, we invite God to destroy it. Growing up, every home would have a Holy Bible in a prominent place in the home to let everyone know that God is honored in this home; the Bible would be read, we  prayed and tried to live by the dictates of the Word.  Today in many homes, the Bible is replaced with televisions, game consoles, guns, computers, cellphones and every electronic gadgets: We spend countless hours surfing the web, playing games and the list is inexhaustible; many even use cellphones in churches under the guise of reading the Bible or taking notes while the Word of God is being proclaimed. Let’s reinstate the Word of God i...

Holy Fire

Acts 2 We are begging those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord, to come to know Him but I believe we have the method backward. Our prayer should be, Lord set us ablaze for You that others can see us ablaze for You ( John Wesley).  Like a moth to a flame, those who do not know the Lord will be attracted to the Fire. According to entomologist(scientist who study insects), moths are able to find their way partly by using light as a compass . On the Day of Pentecost, the disciples in the Upper Room did not plead with those around them to be saved: They simply ‘stayed at home’ in the Fire and people all around were cut to the heart saying, what shall we do? Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of of their sins and they shall receive the Holy Spirit. In one day 3000 souls were added to the church. Praise the Lord. My brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, let us get the Great Commission right. Before we go out into all th...

Will you sing?

The sons of Korah inherited a legacy of woe: Their father, Korah and  co-conspirators, led a rebellion against Moses and as a result of their action, God judged them. The earth opened up and swallowed them alive before the children of Israel. I often wonder, with such a  painful past; how were the sons of Korah so resilient that they moved beyond the shame and painful memory of their father's public debacle, to pen some of the best love songs to God. Ps. 42: 1  As the deer pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul for you my God. Ps. 44:8 In God  we boast all day long, and praise your name for ever. Ps. 84:2 My soul longs, yes even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God It doesn't matter what shame may have marred your family's name or even if you were the culprit: Be encouraged, the Blood of Jesus has erased the hand writing of shame and disgrace. Praise the Lord. May we like the sons of Korah; pray that o...

Take a stand

Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait silently for God  alone , for my expectation is from Him. Let us unreservedly take a stand: We will  wait on God alone to see us through. Our God does not  disappoint nor does He fail. When we are faced with  challenges;  we often  tend to want a quick  fix solution and in our haste to solve these problems we mess up and delay  God's  best for us. Remember,  God's hand is wrapped around time!! Before He is and after He is God. Amen and Amen. God's plan for our lives was set in motion before we were placed in our  mothers' wombs. When we are tempted not to wait on God;  I pray that the Holy Spirit will  speak to us to trust the unseen hand of God: He has the best in store for us. Amen.

The Day of the Lord

The Day of the Lord; the Day when Jesus comes to claim His bride, the Church. Before this great and notable Day, surrender all to Jesus, give Him your heart that cannot find peace  or joy. Jesus longs to have a relationship with you, He is patiently waiting. Why not say yes to Him today? Sad to say, on that Day of the Lord, Jesus will no longer plead with you to surrender, you will be excommunicated, cut off from His Grace and Mercy. What an awful day that will be!!! Jesus Christ loves us so much that He doesn’t want heaven without us, that’s why He died and rose again to give to us eternal life. Receive the eternal life today. Just say , Father I am a sinner, forgive me and I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior . Amen and praise the mighty King Jesus.

Your help is here

Everyone in the Body of Christ who is feeling forlorn: The clouds of oppression seem to hang so low, you may feel like you are drowning and it’s just your head above the waters, hold on help is on the way. Acts 2:25-26 David said about Jesus: “I saw my Lord always before me, Because He is at my right hand I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body will rest in hope”. Jesus is here to meet all the challenges you are facing. Just look up again and keep your eyes on Him. The darkest part of the night is just before dawn. Your ‘dawn’ is here; the resurrected Jesus is here, He has released His Power and Authority to you, appropriate it in the name of Jesus. I pray that our God, who is Fire, will burn up every oppressive and depressive spirit in the mighty name of Jesus. Whatever has been troubling you today will trouble you no more by the power of God. Amen and amen.

Be Resolute

St John 20, tells of the resurrection of Jesus. Mary Magdalene visited the tomb of Jesus but she noticed the stone had been  rolled away from it's entrance. With trepidation, she ran and told the disciples that the stone had been rolled away. After hearing this, the disciples ran to the tomb, looked and found it empty. v.10 Then the disciples went back again to their homes. v.11 But Mary remained standing  outside the tomb sobbing..... Sometimes we find ourselves in challenging situations: we can choose to abandon our faith or we can choose to remain and watch God shows up in the situation. Mary was resolute (v.11), she wanted to see Jesus, she had to find Him. This was a grave time in her life ( no pun intended), she must find Jesus. Behold, she remained at the tomb and Jesus appeared. Praise the Lord. Jesus  wants to show up in our dark moments; times when life seems hopeless, when our lives are in shambles and misery is our companion. May  we like Mary,...

The Cross

The apparent weakness at the Cross, has become our strength to live a life committed to Christ Jesus. Jesus died to become our peace. Jesus died to become our joy. Jesus  died to become our salvation.

Loved by the Beloved

Interjected throughout the Gospel of John is the statement, ' the disciple whom Jesus  loved'. This disciple was so in tuned with his relationship with Jesus Christ that he exuded an air of confidence.  Well, praise God, we too have the right to daily make our boast that we are loved by Jesus. The death of Jesus on the Cross was the  ultimate expression of His love towards us. If you are not in a relationship with Christ Jesus, you cannot experience  this unconditional  love. Just yield to the Father God, today, give Him your life. Just say: Father, I have sinned against You and I am asking for Your forgiveness. That is it. The love of Christ Jesus has made it so easy. Thanks be to Jesus, you have entered into the Lovefest with Jesus. Amen.

I Thirst

Ps. 69:3-4, 21 V.3 I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God. V.4 Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head; many are my enemies without cause, those who seek to destroy me. I am forced to restore what I did not steal. V. 21 They put gall in my food and gave me soured wine for my thirst. When Jesus walked the earth He witnessed  the throes of fallen man and there  was this passion in Him to restore the Kingdom of God back to man which Adam gave to the Devil. On the day Jesus was crucified, man’s answer to Jesus’ cry for thirst was to offer Him soured wine; wine that had gone flat, tasteless...Today are we anyway different? Jesus is calling, “I thirst”. Jesus is still thirsting for our souls, will you answer His call today with a surrendered heart. Please do not mock or jeer Jesus any longer . He loves you, He needs you to be enlisted in His army, do not delay. In this army you have already been declared victo...

Eternal Life

Do you want eternal life? Eternal life is available to everyone!!!!! St John 17:2, clearly stated that the Father has granted Jesus, power and authority over all flesh and Jesus is asking the Father to glorify Him so that He may give eternal life to us. Praise the Lord!!!hallelujah!!! Jesus has been glorified so today, just believe in Jesus Christ and fall in love with Him. It was the perfect love Jesus has for us that He asked the Father to glorify (exalt) Him (St John 17:1). Without the death, burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus, there would be no remission of our sins. Thanks be to Christ Jesus we are united with the Father and because He is eternal, we too will be eternal. Today, I pray in the name of Jesus that while the blood is running hot in our veins, we will surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I pray that the Kingdom of God will become evident in our daily lives as we seek and desire like King David, intimacy with God. I pray in the all powerful name of Jesus.

Prophetic Word

The time is coming when there will be a distinct demarcation between the saved and the unsaved, just like when the Israelites were in Egypt.

"Come and dine"

St John 21:1_9 "We toiled all night and caught nothing" What are we toiling for? If we just seek the Kingdom of God, everything we need is available through Jesus.Imagine this, the disciples toiling all night for fish when Jesus had cooked fish ready and waiting. Bless the Lord, Hallelujah. Come and dine at the Master's table:Please leave the life of stress, Jesus loves us so much that He has prepared before time that we should enter into His rest. Stop the life of striving, it's drainging;it's futile,it saps the life out of you. Enter into His Rest.In the mighty name of Jesus, I have prayed.  Many churches have designed strategies to win souls but they are striving in vain. Please let God have His way in the church and there will be an abundant harvest of souls. God's plan for His Body is already established; just follow the Master's Plan. Pray and seek His Kingdom. Fellow media family: When we are delivered from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Ki...

The revealed Jesus

St.John 1:45 Jesus is hidden in the Old Testament but revealed in the New Testament. Praise the Lord

Prophetic Word

I am calling My leaders, like Moses in the backside of the desert, relatively unknown; to lead my people into the Promised Land. I have shifted from these present leaders because of their hubris, which has led My people astray.

Be on the lookout!!

Keep your lamps burning, the Body of Christ; Be watchful.Be like men who are waiting for their Master to return home. When God knocks we will be able to open to Him immediately. Help us Jesus!!

The Garden

The Apostle John, intimated that Jesus was crucified in a garden (John 19:41), I was struck by the word garden. Then the Holy Spirit led me to see the parallel between the Garden of Eden and the Garden of Gethsemane. Join me on this remarkable journey: -The Garden of Eden was a place of expulsion; the first family was thrown out. -The Garden of Gethsemane became a place of inclusion:the Blood of Jesus gave us, who were outcasts, the right to be called the sons of God....hallelujah!! We are now in the Kingdom of God because of the cross. Thank you Lord for redeeming us in no other place than in a garden. In the Garden of Eden, man lost intimacy with God. In the Garden of Gethsemane man regained intimacy with God through Jesus Christ. In the Garden of Eden, Satan took the Kingdom of God from Adam but Jesus gave us back the Kingdom of God with power and authority in the Garden of Gethsemane. Bless our God. The Garden of Eden became a place of death but the Garden of Gethsemane ...
