Holy Fire

Acts 2

We are begging those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord, to come to know Him but I believe we have the method backward. Our prayer should be, Lord set us ablaze for You that others can see us ablaze for You ( John Wesley).  Like a moth to a flame, those who do not know the Lord will be attracted to the Fire. According to entomologist(scientist who study insects), moths are able to find their way partly by using light as a compass.

On the Day of Pentecost, the disciples in the Upper Room did not plead with those around them to be saved: They simply ‘stayed at home’ in the Fire and people all around were cut to the heart saying, what shall we do? Peter told them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of of their sins and they shall receive the Holy Spirit. In one day 3000 souls were added to the church. Praise the Lord.

My brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, let us get the Great Commission right. Before we go out into all the world, we must be set ablaze by the Holy Spirit, then like flaming arrows we will set the world ablaze for Christ Jesus.

Eagle’s Anointing

‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭103:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬  “He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like     the eagle’s!” In conversation, today with a friend, she was expressing how she was so tired which she attributed to old age. I jokingly declared over her the “eagle’s anointing” and suddenly I felt  a check in my spirit, it’s as if a light bulb lit in my spirit. I have never heard of the eagle’s anointing, however, my friend quickly received the anointing. Understanding Authority

  As I sat here, thinking about spiritual authority, Adam and Eve flashed into my mind. Adam had been under God's authority since he was created and placed in the Garden of Eden. He was responsible for caring for the garden and making it flourish. Although God allowed Adam to eat from any tree in the garden, he also gave him one clear command: he must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam was warned that disobeying this command would result in death.   Adam became Eve's authority figure after she joined her husband in the garden. The devil disguised as a serpent approached Eve one day and questioned her about God's command. He asked her if God said they could not eat from any tree in the garden.
