Will you sing?
The sons of Korah inherited a legacy of woe: Their father, Korah and co-conspirators, led a rebellion against Moses and as a result of their action, God judged them. The earth opened up and swallowed them alive before the children of Israel.
I often wonder, with such a painful past; how were the sons of Korah so resilient that they moved beyond the shame and painful memory of their father's public debacle, to pen some of the best love songs to God.
May we like the sons of Korah; pray that our inner man will be fortified by the Holy Spirit with such strength, that we will not become bitter against God but we will sing songs of adoration to our God. Amen and amen

- Ps. 42: 1 As the deer pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul for you my God.
- Ps. 44:8 In God we boast all day long, and praise your name for ever.
- Ps. 84:2 My soul longs, yes even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God
