The Cross

The apparent weakness at the Cross, has become our strength to live a life committed to Christ Jesus.
Jesus died to become our peace.
Jesus died to become our joy.
Jesus  died to become our salvation.

Being Filled with the Spirit

  The key to Simeon's great anticipation was that he was filled with the Holy Spirit. As believers today, we too must seek to be filled and guided by the Spirit. When we walk in step with the Spirit, He will lead us into greater revelation and understanding of God's truth. Understanding Authority

  As I sat here, thinking about spiritual authority, Adam and Eve flashed into my mind. Adam had been under God's authority since he was created and placed in the Garden of Eden. He was responsible for caring for the garden and making it flourish. Although God allowed Adam to eat from any tree in the garden, he also gave him one clear command: he must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam was warned that disobeying this command would result in death.   Adam became Eve's authority figure after she joined her husband in the garden. The devil disguised as a serpent approached Eve one day and questioned her about God's command. He asked her if God said they could not eat from any tree in the garden. Communion with Jesus

St. Mathew 26: 27-29   27   Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying,  “ Drink from it, all of you.   28   This is my blood of the [ b ]  covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29   I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” I read this Scripture and I was thrilled in my spirit, knowing that Jesus is waiting to host us (His Bride) at the Marriage Feast. He is longing to have Holy Communion with us. Can you see Jesus seating us at the Banquet Table? Hallelujah!! I have a seat and you have a seat. My brothers and sisters, I plead with us!!! Do not allow the distractions of the world, flesh, and the devil to derail us and cause us to miss our seats at the table. Father,  I pray for my brothers and sisters that we will behold Jesus at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Amen
