Will you sing?

The sons of Korah inherited a legacy of woe: Their father, Korah and  co-conspirators, led a rebellion against Moses and as a result of their action, God judged them. The earth opened up and swallowed them alive before the children of Israel. I often wonder, with such a  painful past; how were the sons of Korah so resilient that they moved beyond the shame and painful memory of their father's public debacle, to pen some of the best love songs to God. Ps. 42: 1  As the deer pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul for you my God. Ps. 44:8 In God  we boast all day long, and praise your name for ever. Ps. 84:2 My soul longs, yes even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God It doesn't matter what shame may have marred your family's name or even if you were the culprit: Be encouraged, the Blood of Jesus has erased the hand writing of shame and disgrace. Praise the Lord. May we like the sons of Korah; pray that o...

Take a stand

Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait silently for God  alone , for my expectation is from Him. Let us unreservedly take a stand: We will  wait on God alone to see us through. Our God does not  disappoint nor does He fail. When we are faced with  challenges;  we often  tend to want a quick  fix solution and in our haste to solve these problems we mess up and delay  God's  best for us. Remember,  God's hand is wrapped around time!! Before He is and after He is God. Amen and Amen. God's plan for our lives was set in motion before we were placed in our  mothers' wombs. When we are tempted not to wait on God;  I pray that the Holy Spirit will  speak to us to trust the unseen hand of God: He has the best in store for us. Amen.

The Day of the Lord

The Day of the Lord; the Day when Jesus comes to claim His bride, the Church. Before this great and notable Day, surrender all to Jesus, give Him your heart that cannot find peace  or joy. Jesus longs to have a relationship with you, He is patiently waiting. Why not say yes to Him today? Sad to say, on that Day of the Lord, Jesus will no longer plead with you to surrender, you will be excommunicated, cut off from His Grace and Mercy. What an awful day that will be!!! Jesus Christ loves us so much that He doesn’t want heaven without us, that’s why He died and rose again to give to us eternal life. Receive the eternal life today. Just say , Father I am a sinner, forgive me and I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior . Amen and praise the mighty King Jesus.

Your help is here

Everyone in the Body of Christ who is feeling forlorn: The clouds of oppression seem to hang so low, you may feel like you are drowning and it’s just your head above the waters, hold on help is on the way. Acts 2:25-26 David said about Jesus: “I saw my Lord always before me, Because He is at my right hand I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body will rest in hope”. Jesus is here to meet all the challenges you are facing. Just look up again and keep your eyes on Him. The darkest part of the night is just before dawn. Your ‘dawn’ is here; the resurrected Jesus is here, He has released His Power and Authority to you, appropriate it in the name of Jesus. I pray that our God, who is Fire, will burn up every oppressive and depressive spirit in the mighty name of Jesus. Whatever has been troubling you today will trouble you no more by the power of God. Amen and amen.

Be Resolute

St John 20, tells of the resurrection of Jesus. Mary Magdalene visited the tomb of Jesus but she noticed the stone had been  rolled away from it's entrance. With trepidation, she ran and told the disciples that the stone had been rolled away. After hearing this, the disciples ran to the tomb, looked and found it empty. v.10 Then the disciples went back again to their homes. v.11 But Mary remained standing  outside the tomb sobbing..... Sometimes we find ourselves in challenging situations: we can choose to abandon our faith or we can choose to remain and watch God shows up in the situation. Mary was resolute (v.11), she wanted to see Jesus, she had to find Him. This was a grave time in her life ( no pun intended), she must find Jesus. Behold, she remained at the tomb and Jesus appeared. Praise the Lord. Jesus  wants to show up in our dark moments; times when life seems hopeless, when our lives are in shambles and misery is our companion. May  we like Mary,...

The Cross

The apparent weakness at the Cross, has become our strength to live a life committed to Christ Jesus. Jesus died to become our peace. Jesus died to become our joy. Jesus  died to become our salvation.

Loved by the Beloved

Interjected throughout the Gospel of John is the statement, ' the disciple whom Jesus  loved'. This disciple was so in tuned with his relationship with Jesus Christ that he exuded an air of confidence.  Well, praise God, we too have the right to daily make our boast that we are loved by Jesus. The death of Jesus on the Cross was the  ultimate expression of His love towards us. If you are not in a relationship with Christ Jesus, you cannot experience  this unconditional  love. Just yield to the Father God, today, give Him your life. Just say: Father, I have sinned against You and I am asking for Your forgiveness. That is it. The love of Christ Jesus has made it so easy. Thanks be to Jesus, you have entered into the Lovefest with Jesus. Amen.
