Touching the Heart of Jesus

“For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David.””

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭37‬:‭35‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Will God say that of us? Can God say of us, I will defend this community, this city, and this country for my daughter’s sake or my son’s sake?

As I meditated on Is. 37:35, I was intrigued by God’s desire to defend the city for His sake and the sake of David. I wondered what David did to move the heart of the Father in such a way, then I remember, it’s David’s devotion and worship to the Father. O to fall in love with Jesus!

Holy Spirit bring us in alignment with the heart of  Jesus  and make us a people who hunger and thirst to worship Him in spirit and in truth because nothing else will do.

May we center our affections on Jesus, see Him seated at the right hand of the Father, far above principalities and powers.
